What is Semiotics?
Semiotics is the study of how meaning is created, communicated, and interpreted through the lens of signs. It is a century-old field of science that provides a general framework of coherence and an understanding of how communication functions in systems that are unfamiliar to us. It is used in multiple sectors to clarify why things and experiences make sense to people and how what we see, sense, and do influence our behaviors and the choices we make every day.

I am a seasoned agency-trained branding expert specializing in brand strategy, verbal strategy, and cultural intelligence. Over the years, I have successfully delivered clear, actionable and efficient branding solutions for businesses across categories both in Europe and in the US. In my work, I use the art and science of Semiotics to help brands generate value and become relevant to their audiences. I was born and raised in France, just spent 14 years in New York City, and am currently based in Switzerland.

I am all about connecting the dots: ideas and meaning, people and experiences, challenges and solutions. No wonder it was love at first sight when I first encountered Semiotics back in college. Semiotics is the science of relevance and it has always been an important part of my work.
